A number of people have told me they think this story to be sexist. I know no bigger group of relationship list-makers, however, than my women friends. If the notion of buying people in cans is seen as objectification, I believe ANY kind of list making is objectification - and we all objectify; if we didn't, there would be no children. Attraction happens before we get to know someone; we get to know them because we first find them attractive.
To my mind the most important part of the story is beautiful Wendy throwing herself at Frank, and Frank, the idiot, not only opting instead for a canned girl, but for one on the sale rack.

Sale rack girls / damaged goods are never a bargain. Been there & done that. Sale rack girls can not be fixed either, so don't waste your time. Frank should know this at his age.!
